As of May this year, Lindahl law firm has a new Chairman in Mårten Steen, a long-time partner at the firm's Uppsala office. Lindahl is now making further changes as Tobias Wåhlén steps down from his position as CEO.
Lindahl is reshaping its internal leadership and giving the firm's executive team a clearer role. This is a strategic decision to bring critical business functions such as IT, marketing, innovation, and knowledge management even closer to the partners and the operation.
"We have had the same management structure for many years, which has worked well. But with new conditions and challenges in the market, as well as a partially new leadership and board in place, it is also the right time to test a new governance model internally at the firm," says Mårten Steen.
Tobias Wåhlén has worked at Lindahl in two periods, the latest five years as CEO. He has played a central role in the firm's development in recent years, where the firm has grown in both size and turnover and strengthened its position from a brand perspective.
"Lindahl is on an exciting journey, and Tobias Wåhlén deserves a big thank you for his efforts during his time as CEO. His work has contributed to our development, not least considering everything that has happened in the world in recent years, where Tobias has helped us navigate through the turbulence," says Mårten Steen, Chairman of Lindahl.
"These years at Lindahl have been very stimulating with many important initiatives and transformation projects. The future looks exciting, and I wish Lindahl all the best in the firm's continued development," says Tobias Wåhlén.
Lindahl's executive team consists of Anders Adielsson, board member and partner in Malmö, Monica Lagercrantz, board member and Managing Partner in Stockholm, and Mårten Steen.
"We look forward to now exploring a new governance model where the goal is to continue developing our operations and work even more efficiently together. With that said, we also wish Tobias a warm good luck going forward," concludes Mårten Steen.
