Lindahl is now taking the next step in the development of the firm, with two more partners in Stockholm. They are lawyers Monica Lagercrantz and Dennis Westermark, who are joining Lindahl in Stockholm. Lawyers Nicklas Bexelius and Lisa Liljekvist are also joining the firm.
The opening of a new office in Stockholm in December 2019 with partners Mats Tindberg, Mårten Lindberg and Henrik Nobel, along with the appointment of Tobias Wåhlén as CEO, has strengthened Lindahl’s position as one of Sweden’s leading law firms. With the new partners, both of whom currently work at the Westermark Anjou law firm, and two assistant lawyers, the firm is further consolidating its position, while its ambition is to continue to grow.
“It’s important for us to have a strong position in Stockholm, and so we’re really pleased to be able to welcome more skilled lawyers to our newly opened Stockholm office. Thanks to these recruitments, Lindahl’s Stockholm office will become one of the leading law firms in capital markets & public M&A. They will also significantly contribute to the work of our clients and to Lindahl’s culture, which has always been the driving force for our success,” says Johan Herrström, Chairman of the Board of the Lindahl law firm.
Monica Lagercrantz specialises in capital markets & public M&A and corporate law. Dennis Westermark mainly works on capital markets and public M&A, corporate law and dispute resolution. Both have written several books on capital markets and public M&A and regularly teach in this field. Lisa Liljekvist specialises in IT, corporate finance and intellectual property law, and her most recent role was Legal Counsel at Storytel. In 2019 Lisa was named “Rising Star of the Year” by, among others, Affärsvärlden and the Swedish Company Lawyers Association. Nicklas Bexelius is a lawyer specialising in company law, private M&A and investments, particularly within tech and digital business. He also has experience of real estate transactions and most recently worked at Synch.
“Lindahl has exciting ambitions and a lot of positive energy. Together with all our new skilled colleagues, we new partners look forward to being involved in building a business with complete focus on the client’s business value,” says Monica Lagercrantz, new partner at Lindahl.
Lindahl’s newly opened office in Stockholm is located at Strandvägen 3. With the new partners, there are now five lawyers in the partner group. More lawyers will be joining Lindahl in Stockholm shortly.
“We expect to have around 30 employees in Stockholm in our excellent new premises within a short time. It will be both one of Sweden’s fastest-growing law offices and one of the most exciting places to work for both established and new lawyers,” says Johan Herrström.
