Lindahl’s experts have written the Swedish section of Climate Change 2023 in the Chambers Global Practice Guide, which this year covers 20 jurisdictions. The guide is about combating climate change. It focuses on the practical legal issues affecting companies and compares legal regulation in the various jurisdictions.
In the section on Swedish jurisdiction, Lindahl describes Sweden’s commitments to combating climate change at national, EU and international level, as well as the impact of the commitments on companies at national level. Lindahl reviews matters such as emissions trading, ESG reporting, the upcoming CSDD Directive as well as the impact on M&A and financial transactions, which companies need to be aware of because they need to adhere to existing regulations and adapt to the requirements established by future regulations.
