Lindahl acted as a legal advisor to Everysport Group AB (publ) in connection with the company’s acquisition of all shares in the media company Hippson Aktiebolag from Perlavita AB. Hippson is a leading media company in equestrian sports with associated websites, newsletters, books and online stores, etc. The company’s site, which contains editorial content relating to equestrian sports, receives approximately 120,000 unique visitors a week.
Under the share transfer agreement, the purchase price for Hippson is to be paid through a directed rights issue of 166,666 shares in Everysport, with payment of the reverse purchase price through set-off. Everysport intends to take possession of the shares in Hippson and resolve on the rights issue directed to Perlavita on the date on which it takes possession – 7 July 2023.
