Lindahl acted as a legal advisor to BeGreen Sweden in connection with its acquisition from Universal Kraft of a solar energy project in central Sweden. The project covers an area of 110 hectares and is expected to have a total capacity of approximately 64 MWp. The acquisition also includes an option for an adjacent project.
Besides Sweden, BeGreen also carries on operations in Denmark, Poland and Germany and has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Norwegian energy group Equinor for just over a year. BeGreen’s goal is to operate solar power plants with a total capacity of 4 GW within two years.
The Lindahl team consisted of Per-Anders Bengtsson, Jesper Fredriksson, Annika Brandt and Tor Pöpke.
