The old doctor’s villa on the corner of Köpmansgatan/Storgatan in Höganäs, known as Widdings villa, has been acquired by the Municipality of Höganäs. The classical-style turn-of-the-century villa is located right in the centre of Höganäs and will be the future kulturhuset’s nearest neighbour. The Municipality has designated the property as being of particular cultural and historical value. Höganäs’ first water tower stands on the site. The transaction was carried out as a company acquisition.
