Advokatfirman Lindahl has assisted Amferia AB with entry into an exclusive private label license and supply agreement in animal health with Orkla Wound Care. The agreement – which includes the Nordic countries as well as Germany, Spain and Portugal – is valid for a period of three years with the possibility of an extension.
Through the collaboration with Orkla Wound Care, Amferia’s innovative technology will reach the veterinary market through Orkla’s leading brand Snögg Animal Care.
Amferia’s technology is based on an antimicrobial gel that inhibits bacterial growth and can help prevent infections – a priority area in the European veterinary market, particularly in view of the growing risk of antibiotic-resistant infections. Amferia’s technology and materials have been developed through many years’ research in collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology.
