Advokatfirman Lindahl acted as a legal advisor when Precise Biometrics AB carried out a parallel preferential rights issue and directed issue of ordinary shares for a total amount of approximately 44 MSEK. Egis Technology Inc. was brought into the company as a new shareholder through the directed issue. Egis’ holding in Precise after the issues corresponds to approximately 12 per cent of the shares and votes in the company and it thus becomes one of the company’s largest shareholders.
Precise Biometrics is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and is a global supplier of identification software. The company offers products in various areas of application that enable users – through their own biometrics – to identify themselves in a secure, convenient way. Precise has two business areas: Digital Identity and Algo, and operates from its offices in Lund, Potsdam and Shanghai.
Lindahl’s team consisted of Johan Herrström, Ellen Frisk and Pontus Söderberg. Vator Securities AB acted as a financial advisor and issuer agent.
