Lindahl has assisted the Danish solar energy developer BeGreen A/S regarding Swedish law in connection with the divestment of the BeGreen group from Bregentved Group and members of BeGreen’s executive board to Equinor (formerly known as Statoil). BeGreen’s completed projects have a capacity of over 700 MW, and the group’s ongoing projects in Denmark, Sweden and Poland have a total size of over 6 GW. In Equinor – a Norwegian energy company with 21,000 employees internationally and activities involving both renewable and fossil energy – BeGreen gets an owner that provides for more possibilities to expand its business.
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Lindahl’s team consisted of Per-Anders Bengtsson, Annika Brandt, and Jesper Fredriksson.
