Lindahl acted as advisor to Partnerinvest Norr and other owners in connection with the sale of Treehotel, one of Norrbotten's most unique and well-known brands. From 1 September 2022, Jonas Olsson, owner of Balticgruppen, will take over the hotel through the Meditron Holding company, continuing to operate the business with its current personnel.
Treehotel is located in Harads in Norrbotten and is known for its unique accommodation experience with rooms high up among the tree tops. It currently has eight rooms designed by Scandinavia's leading architects, with each tree room having its own individual character. What the rooms have in common is that they are all located four to six metres above the ground, in a magnificent and undisturbed natural environment.
Partnerinvest Norr is a venture capital company that invests in companies with scalable business models in Norr- and Västerbotten. The company was set up in spring 2010 and has been co-owner of Treehotel since 2012.
Lindahl represented Partnerinvest Norr, the founders Kent Lindvall and Britta Jonsson-Lindvall, as well as other sellers in connection with the sale. The team from Lindahl comprised Mårten Steen, Disa Almqvist and Emira Peterson. Advise North acted as financial advisor to the group of sellers in connection with the transaction.
