Germany-based 1KOMMA5° GmbH, acting through a newly established Swedish intermediate holding company, has expanded into the Scandinavian markets by acquiring a majority stake in the Swedish company Cell Solar Nordic.
1KOMMA5° is a German investment company engaged in the build-up of a European group of companies in the renewable energies sector by acquiring majority stakes in leading European electrical installation companies specializing in solar supply, energy storage and charging solutions. In reference to the climate goal of keeping global warming below 1.5°, and emphasizing that whereas technology and the capital are generally available, the market lacks relevant execution capacity, 1KOMMA5° is working toward establishing Europe's first one-stop-shop when it comes to the installation of climate protection technology. Backed by reputable investors such as Porsche Ventures, 1KOMMA5° GmbH is continuing its exceptionally rapid growth. Cell Solar Nordic, the latest addition to the 1KOMMA5° group, is the second largest solar technology provider in Sweden.
Lindahl acted as legal counsel to 1KOMMA5° GmbH on the Swedish elements of the transaction. Lindahl’s team consisted mainly of Moritz Veller, Ellen Nordell, Ottilia Boström and Asta Schultz.
