Lindahl acted as legal advisor to the Uppsala-based solar energy company HPSolartech in connection with a financing where French Omnes Capital’s fund Capenergie Renewable Energy invests in the company and becomes the new majority owner. Omnes Capital is a leading European private equity and infrastructure investor with extensive experience of working with entrepreneurial companies within the field of renewable energy and power production.
HPSolartech’s ambition is to become Sweden’s leading independent power producer (IPP) within solar energy and through Omnes’ investment the company has secured financing for the construction of the first solar power plants of in total 1.5 GW, which will become operational in the period between 2023 and 2028.

Lindahl has advised on all legal aspects of the transaction and team members from several practice groups have been involved in the project.
