Lindahl assisted the owners of K360 Nordic AB in connection with the sale of the company to the Norwegian Håndverksgruppen, one of the largest operators in the Nordic region within painting, flooring, masonry and tiling work.
K360 is one of Uppsala's largest construction companies and was established in the mid-1990s under the name Knivsta Plattsättning. Today the company has 80 employees and supplies a range of construction and tiling services to Stockholm and the Uppsala region. The company is expected to approach SEK 300 million in turnover this year. K360 works with several large contractors and property companies, with its principal business consisting of tiling in everything from airports and shopping centres to new builds, as well as refurbishment of various houses and commercial buildings, along with insurance repair claims.
Håndverksgruppen has quickly established itself as a significant operator in the Swedish market, with the acquisition of K360 now taking the total number of craft companies in Sweden affiliated to it to 13, and with a total turnover in excess of SEK 1 billion per year.
All shareholders in K360 Nordic will continue in their roles and will operate and continue to develop the company as part of a larger group, becoming shareholders in Håndverksgruppen through a reinvestment.
The acquisition is conditional on approval from the Swedish Competition Authority.
Lindahl acted as legal advisor to the owners of K360 in connection with the sale, with the team principally comprising Mårten Steen and Erika Svensson.
