Lindahl has advised Cibes in the acquisition of the leading provider of home elevators and accessibility solutions in the Southeast US, American Elevator of Atlanta Inc. The acquisition was made through the subsidiary Cibes US Holding Inc.
Cibes is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of low-speed lifts and will by the acquisition of American Elevator of Atlanta Inc. broaden its sales network, increase its geographical presence and strengthen its after sales services throughout the Southeast.
American Elevator is headquartered in Suwanee, Georgia, with a sales office in South Carolina. The company offers a wide range of home elevators, stairlifts and platform lifts, as well as installation, maintenance, and modernization services throughout the Southeast US.
Lindahl has advised Cibes Lift Group in the transaction together with the US law firm Wiggin and Dana. Lindahl’s team consisted of Mårten Steen and Disa Almqvist.
