Lindab has acquired EKOVENT Aktiebolag and its wholly owned subsidiaries EKO VENTILATION i Vellinge AB, Fastighetsaktiebolaget EKO1, Fastighetsaktiebolaget EKO2 and EKO Ventilation ApS from the previous owners, Michael Wahlgren and Monica Grube.
EKOVENT is one of Sweden’s leading companies in the production and marketing of ventilation and fire & smoke protection products. EKOVENT was founded in 1972 and is a family business in the second generation. The company has its head office and two production facilities in Vellinge, outside of Malmö, as well as sales offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg. In Vellinge, EKOVENT also has a development centre with an advanced test lab. EKOVENT has 64 employees and had sales of approximately SEK 123 million in 2019.
Lindahl has been the legal advisor and KPMG has been the financial advisor to the sellers. Lindahl’s team consisted of Johan Herrström and Simon Petersson.
