Lindahl acted as an advisor when the Japanese company Metal Technology Co Ltd acquired all the shares in Sandvik Powder Solutions AB from a subsidiary of the Sandvik group. Sandvik Powder Solutions, located in Surahammar, manufactures powder metallurgically-based hot isostatic pressed (HIP) products and has a turnover of approximately MSEK 80. Metal Technology Co Ltd is the market leader in the Asian market and, through this acquisition, is also establishing operations in Europe.
Lindahl’s team consisted of Gunnar Mattsson, Andreas Mellberg, Olov Kling and Elsa Malmqvist.
The transaction was carried out in cooperation with the English law firm RPC.
