Lindahl has been the legal advisor to Coeli Private Equity AB (publ) in connection with the merger of nine private equity funds and the subsequent listing of the company's shares on the regulated market Nordic AIF, which is run by Nordic Growth Market NGM AB. The first trading day is scheduled for November 25, 2019.
The process has been going on for over a year and initially included a comprehensive merger process where nine of Coeli's previous annual funds focusing on the Nordic private equity market have been merged into the newly created investment company Coeli Private Equity AB (publ). Following the merger, the company has applied and received approval from Nordic Growth Market NGM AB for listing on Nordic AIF, which is a natural step to increase transparency towards investors and provide an opportunity for trading of the company's shares on a regulated marketplace.
Coeli Private Equity AB's business concept is to offer its customers an opportunity to invest in a unique portfolio of Nordic private equity. The company has created a well-diversified portfolio through investments in private equity funds and a couple of direct investments and today has exposure to approximately 130 portfolio companies in different life cycles and industries.
The Lindahl team has consisted of Mårten Steen (responsible partner), Emelie Carmhagen Wernoff, Emira Peterson, Michael Edquist, Therese Norenäs, Elin Myhr and Carolin Martinez. In addition, a number of other employees have contributed in various parts of the project.
