Lindahl has during the spring acted as legal advisor to the majority owners of Senseair AB in connection with the sale of Senseair to the Japanese company Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM), which is part of the Japanese company group Asahi Kasei Corp. A long and successful cooperation between the two companies has led to the acquisition.
Senseair is a leading global provider of air and gas sensing technology with its headquarter in Delso, Sweden, and a department for the development of alcohol sensors for vehicles in Västerås, Sweden. The company works within the fields of both indoor and outdoor air quality and the sensors and solutions are used in several different areas, such as alcohol screening, gas alarms, life science and transportation. AKM’s intention is to invest in the development of products, services and production of sensors in Sweden. The company will be operated under the Senseair brand and with the same management.
