Lindahl has advised the owners of HVB Ekekullen in connection with the sale of HVB Ekekullen to Aleris Omsorg AB.
HVB Ekekullen is one of the largest privately held HVB companies (homes for care or residence) in southern Sweden. It consists of Ekekullen Utredning och Behandlingshem AB and its four subsidiaries, with operations at six locations in southern Sweden. HVB Ekekullen has a total of ca 100 spots, ca 60 of which are HVB spots for investigation and treatment and the remaining ca 40 are dedicated for assisted living for teenagers and families. During FY16/17, HVB Ekekullen had a turnover of ca SEK 83 million and an EBITDA of ca SEK 20 million. The group has more than 80 employees.
Through the acquisition, Aleris Omsorg complements its service offer within HVB and assisted living for teenagers and families. Aleris Omsorg has an approximate turnover of SEK 2 billion, ca 2500 employees and is headquartered in Stockholm.
