Atria Scandinavia acquires Lagerberg in Norjeby AB (Lagerbergs) from family Lagerberg. Lagerbergs have breeding and production of poultry on Listerlandet in Blekinge. The acquisition will mean a new product category for Atria on the Swedish market and it is in line with their strategy to develop the category of white meat in Sweden. It also means an increase in turnover of approximately SEK 300 million. The transaction is conditional on approval of competition authorities and is expected to be completed during the second quarter in 2016.
