For many years, the IT market has become increasingly service-oriented. Together with growing demands on the IT industry to deliver real business value to companies, this imposes new demands on both external and internal IT suppliers.
Suppliers must combine an ability to deliver flexibility with better commercial understanding. Traditional IT systems are increasingly being delivered as services, for example by outsourcing or cloud services. The importance of commercial presence on the internet, for example through social media, continues to rise. The growth in digital information-processing gives rise to increasingly complex privacy issues.
We have been working with the IT market since the 1980's. We provide legal advice on areas such as IT agreements (outsourcing and cloud services) internet, privacy, data security, M&A in the IT industry and we have participated in drafting all of the Swedish IT and Telecom Industries' standard contracts. Our IT group includes lawyers who have worked in the IT industry themselves and lawyers who have long experience of advising Swedish companies on both the supplier and client side.
